Current Favorites

Here's a list of my favorites - the places I've gone to the most this year...

Brothers Korean BBQ - Incredible, but crowded. If so I go to the other one...

Brothers 2 Korean BBQ - Just as incredible, less crowded and the owner is so nice!

Pluto's Fresh Food for a Hungry Universe - good food - salads and sandwiches

Bill's Place - I always get the Paul Kantner burger - grilled onions, cheese and russian dressing.

Mel's - great burgers, shakes and oinion rings

Atlas Cafe - I always get the grilled Cuban beef sandwich and a salad. Good coffee and good root beer too!

Gaspare's - good down home Italian.

Okina Sushi - incredible big fresh cuts - a one man shop.

Asqew Grill - A Haight Street joint - cheap and healthy.

People's Cafe - for a great cuppa-joe.

Neecha Thai - great veggie dishes.

Sam Woh - the best little dirty, greasy Chinese joint in the world. Check out the dumb waiter.

Andy's - My main Chinese take-out place...

Samila Thai - great take-out - get the BBQ Chicken!

Mr. Pizza Man - great 24 hour delivery and not just pizza.

Ton Kiang - the BEST Dim Sum around. I go at least once a week.

The Pork Store - great breakfast on Haight Street with excellent people-watching. Too crowded on weekends.

Pakwan - for yummy Indian and Pakistani food at a good price

Indian Oven - Also great Indian food in the lower Haight.

Tommy's Mexican - on Geary is a really great neighborhood joint.

Tommy's Joynt - on Geary and Van Ness is a classic.
