Me, in brief: retired, mostly. Before that — three years teaching English in Hồ Chí Minh City, several more in marketing pretending to enjoy quarterly business reviews, and a lifetime of getting just good enough at the guitar to disappoint myself.
This site is a notebook with a domain name. I write about the guitars I’m wrestling with, the music looping in my head, the books I’m three quarters through, and the small experiments I’ve been running with Claude Skills — which, against reasonable expectations, is the most fun I’ve had with a keyboard in years.
